The city is built on the side of a mountain island with long stretches of fertile land. The Island is in the far west quadrant of Akavir surrounded by ocean to the west and the greater inland of Akavir to the East. It's in no direct proximity to any other settlements.
Fresh water source: On top of the mountain is a freshwater spring that is replenished by the winter ice melting.
Food source: Below the city there is a vast stretch of fertile land where many wheat fields will grow.
Accessibility: Skycrest is in fact a port town, being an island, and is only accessible through means of sailing.
Purpose: Skyrcrest is an independent city state created to freely worship Talos and any other divine one may choose. It is the western most port town and therefore conducts any business from those further west of Akavir. The city is also home to some of Akavir's greatest brewery exports and quarry goods such as stone. Skycrest is a place of free worship, trade and refuge from the harsh environment of Akavir.
